| Jul 15, 2007 - 1:31 PM | #i |
If someone hasnt waived their Right to see the LOR and the letter writer personally hands information technology over to the bidder, what is the procedure to send it to ERAS. Do i however demand a cover sheet or simply send information technology with other documents with a document submission form.
Also the Letter writer has asked me to describe briefly what i want to be emphasized in that letter. I have worked in that pvt dispensary and i took history, did brief physical exam and discussed cases. The letter writer has frequently mentioned how difficult working and efficient i am. And then i dont know what new i could tell him. Any help would be appreciated.

The encompass is only needed if you waived your right to come across the letter. If you did not waive, there is no demand to send the cover, only make a re-create of the alphabetic character for yourself and send the original one without the embrace.

I dont recollect waiving the right volition brand any divergence.Information technology is the program coordinator who volition look through all cv and scores and skim all the applicant. They become like hundreds of resumes for one position and nobody fifty-fifty bothers at this point if a detail letter was waived or nor not.....
even on interview twenty-four hours you might not be the only bidder .They scheduale several people on same dates and so try to work on imp things.
It is basically your scores, your graduation year, what have you been doing since graduation?? what kind of background you lot accept ,if you have been a family dr. in your country then they will ask y'all why are you applying in psychiatry or radiology, also what kind of u.s clinical experience you lot had??did you exercise internship or just observership ,your personality ,,if they like you lot ...... etc etc

Niacin, some programs don't even wait at LOR'south where the applicant has non waived their right. (this is a fact).
And LOR's are in fact a Big component of your application, don't downplay it... it's just as important as ure USCE, scores, graduation twelvemonth, etc.

yeah..LOR are big...if you lot some how convinece the LOR author that I need to waive the right to see it and hand it to you sealed with the encompass letter information technology should be fine...
if information technology had been already given to you lot..than i estimate simply mail the alphabetic character..

Actually, if you transport on your ain the letter of the alphabet that does non take the LOR request course in the envelope, you and so need to attach to the envelope the Certificate SUBMISSION Course, and put everything in some other envelope, and send to ECFMG... Without the DOCUMENT SUBMISSION FORM they may loose it or not even process... Remember, they track you by AAMC ID, not even by ECFMG ID, and there is a special place to put that AAMC on the form...

If you don't apply to neurosurgery, ENT, radiation oncology, do non be scared too much... Just do your best and do non worry about things you cannot modify...
